Mweya jewelry is designed with care in Los Angeles. Due to the handmade nature of these items, each piece is unique and subtle variations may occur. Photos displayed on product pages are representative of the item you will receive, but may not be the exact same.

YOUR ORDER

Each piece is handmade to order. Please allow 5-10 business days before shipment, unless otherwise stated in the details section of the specific product page. If you require your order within a shorter period, please contact us at info@shopmweya.com to discuss how we can best accommodate your needs.

PAYMENT

Payment is accepted by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. We are based in Los Angeles, California, so all orders shipped within California will incur a 7.5% sales tax charge.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

All domestic orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail at a flat rate of $8 USD. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email containing a USPS tracking number for your records. Domestic shipments take approximately 2-3 days to arrive. International orders are shipped via USPS First Class International Mail at a flat rate of $18 USD. Due to USPS border policies, packages are unable to be tracked once they travel beyond the U.S. border, so you will not receive a tracking number for an international shipment. International shipments take approximately 7-21 days to arrive depending on the destination. Expedited international shipping options are available at higher rates. Please contact us directly if you would like to arrange for your international package to be mailed priority or express. Tracking information will be provided. Please note, we are not responsible for the payment of any import or duty fees on international shipments. If packages are lost, stolen or damaged en route to the shipping address, we will work with USPS on your behalf to resolve the issue.

PACKAGING

Items come carefully packaged inside a custom Mweya storage bag. If your order is a gift, please leave a personalized message in the special instructions section at checkout, and we would be happy to include a handwritten gift card with your order.

RETURN + EXCHANGE POLICY

All sales are final. Please carefully review item details before placing your order. If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will gladly accept an exchange. Please contact us at info@shopmweya.com within 10 days of receiving your order. In your message, be sure to include your name, the item name and your original order number. Please await an email confirmation before mailing your item back to us. Products sent back for exchange must be unworn, undamaged, and in their original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange if the products being exchanged are not in their original condition. All products sent back should be packed securely with your name and order number. Packages must be prepaid and sent with delivery tracking. We are not responsible for items lost, damaged or stolen during shipping. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

REPAIRS

We understand things happen. We will repair any Mweya jewelry item within 30 days of purchase. Please contact us at info@shopmweya.com for repair and shipping details.

STORAGE + CARE

Brass and copper oxidize naturally and develop a patina over time. This patina can be easily removed with a polishing cloth for metal. We recommend a brand called Sunshine to brighten the metal’s finish. Always keep your jewelry clean, dry and free from chemicals. When you’re not wearing your jewelry, store it in the airtight bag your order was shipped in. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
